Carols in The Domain
Hey everybody!
On the 22nd the traditional Carols in The Domain took place - a beautiful event to get into a Christmas mood by listening to Christmas carols in one of the nicest locations of Sydney! But lets start from the beginning…
One picture says more than 1000 words, doesn’t it?
On our way to The Domain we saw these guys in Sydney’s CBD. Yes, you see it right - some people dressed up (including their convertible) and drove through the city, giving Christmas candy to everyone and waving. *This* is Australia for me!

Enough propaganda for Australia, lets start the party in The Domain
We were not the only ones enjoying the carols…
This reminded me a little bit of Batman ;) As you can see, the weather was perfect and the sunset made the event even nicer
Another thing which made the Carols in The Domain nicer for us were chips, some booze and doughuts hehe
There was a firework at the beginning and of course, the whole event was a sing along! But two parts really deserve being mentioned explicitly: First of all The Wiggles: A group of man dancing is nothing new, but it is something special when the whole audience jumps up to their feet and starts to dance, following The Wiggles’ dances! That was really fun, even for people like us who did not know them :)
But the best part was the arrival of Santa!

Now how cool it that?!
As you can see we had a nice evening which finally brought me a little bit into a Christmas mood :)
